As the buggy freewheels, it can gain significant momentum going down hills when under manual control. On a hilly course this can take a toll on an old back or knees.
Also, cannot be parked on a hill without it rolling away.
Exploration of some sort of inertia brake or even a hand brake would be beneficial

We actually offer a version of your cart with downhill braking built in. It’s called the Q1‑7, which is the upgraded model of the Q1‑6E you currently own. The braking system gives you controlled descent on slopes and allows the cart to be parked on an incline without rolling away, while still preserving the freewheeling capability our customers value when they need to push manually or forget their battery.
If you feel the braking option would suit your course better, we’re happy to help you upgrade. The cost is simply the difference between the Q1‑7 and the Q1‑6E, plus courier charges.

The latest version of Q1-7 has a motor cutoff when the brake is applied , so customers dont have to remember to turn down power to the motor when the brake is applied.

I got the Q3 because my home course is quite bumpy and I’ve seen a lot of carts fall over. No problems for me with the wider wheel base, although it did get stuck on a gutter once. The remote is great but it can be a bit twitchy when the cart gets a good grip on cement or gravel. It takes a bit of practice but I understand it now. In tighter areas, like steering through ropes etc, best to use the handle and slow down a bit… same on sharp turns. I love the look of it. Gets a lot of comment. The accessories are great BUT because the Q3 needs an extension for the seat, I found it quite cumbersome and wobbly. It was also noisy on the bumpy ground. I didn’t get the seat to sit on… I just needed storage, so I modified it and now it sits perfectly above the wheel and does the job. I got rid of the noise from the lid with some felt pads. Looks quite compact and tidy now. Overall, I highly recommend this unit. Had it a couple of months now and it certainly makes the walk a lot easier and I’m not nearly as sore in the legs afterwards. A very good buy.
Don't like it. It doesn't sitting an easy accessible place. I'm not using it!

The buggy fits into the bag very well & it makes the boot nice & tidy.
Nice touch, however I already had an umbrella holder on my trade-in buggy and could have just changed it over!
Most customers would not be able to swap over an accessory so in the trade in we provided a new umbrella holder for all customers. WE don't understand why we were rated 3 when most customers are very happy with the umbrella holder being given on the new trolley free. Nevertheless, we respect the customers' view
